My name is Austin Rohde. I’m a certified personal trainer, TRS-S certified through The Ready State, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete who’s been training consistently for the past three years.

I was like you. I loved training, but my body started “charging interest” after every session. A tough round meant I’d go home tighter than when I arrived—neck cranky, shoulders stiff, hips locked up—and it bled into everything outside jiu-jitsu.The frustrating part was the guessing. I’d throw stretches at the problem and hope it helped. Sometimes it did… until it didn’t.
